Bwin.Party Digital Entertainment, the online gaming partner of the Borgata casino in Atlantic City, is considering selling some or all of the company, two people with knowledge of the situation told Bloomberg News.

Bloomberg reported Thursday that the Internet gaming company has hired Deutsch Bank AG to consider its options, and is expected to reach a decision on its future within two months, citing its anonymous sources.

Borgata and Bwin’s partnership is the leader in New Jersey, according to the report, with a nearly 40 percent share of the $10.5 million in online bets made in May. However, they are facing a challenge from PokerStars, the world’s largest poker website, which could be on the verge of re-entering the U.S. market.
