Datacolor acquires Italian paint software company

Datacolor AG, a Lawrenceville-based leader in color management solutions, on Wednesday announced its acquisition of Media Logic SNC, a software provider for the Italian and European industrial paint markets.

Media Logic, headquartered in Reggio Emilia, Italy, has seven employees that will be joining the Datacolor team.

Media Logic’s software, Ymity, is a tinting management system that ensures a mixing of the right paint color.  The software is an efficient management solution between paint manufacturers and paint dealers.

The acquisition will help Datacolor’s strategically strengthen its presence in the paint market.
