Eastampton company expanding its facilities

    Epicore Bionetworks Inc. announced Thursday it will be building a new facility on empty land adjacent to its current site in order to support its growing core aquaculture business.

    Epicore said in a news release that it has the required approvals for the new construction. The additional facility will be built in two phases, with 6,000 square feet constructed in 2014 and another 6,000 in the future “as facility needs evolve.”
