Cammarano, Layton & Bombardieri Partners LLC, a Trenton-based consulting firm, announced Friday that Tricia Mueller has joined the firm.

Mueller, according to the firm, is one of the state’s top democratic strategists and brings more than two decades of experience in issue advocacy, political campaigns and grassroots organizations.

In this new role, Mueller will be responsible for providing public affairs and government relations counsel to clients.  She will also continue to serve as the political director to the Northeast Regional Council of Carpenters where she oversees political and governmental involvement of about 30,000 union carpenters across New Jersey and New York.

“We are thrilled to announce the addition of Tricia to our team. She is a highly regarded Democratic strategist. Through her years of success statewide, she brings an important network of relationships on the federal, state and local levels,” Pete Cammarano, partner and managing director at CLB, said in a statement. “Today’s addition will be a valued resource to our current and future clients as we continue to grow our firm.”

Prior to this role, she was the state director for President Barack Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign.
