HFF announced Monday that it has closed the sale of a Class A, 240-unit multihousing apartment complex in Hoboken.

The property consists of four five-story residential buildings and takes up a full city block in the uptown Hoboken submarket between Grand and Adams Streets and 12th and 11th Streets, as well as the northern half of the block between Clinton and Grant Streets, the firm said. All of the apartments are two-bedroom, two-bathroom units.

HFF marketed the Curling Club Apartments on behalf of PNC Realty Investors Inc., an investment advisor to the AFL-CIO Building Investment Trust.  The property was purchased free of existing debt, but financial terms were not disclosed.

HFF’s team that represented the seller was led by Jose Cruz, Kevin O’Hearn and Michael Oliver from the New Jersey Office and Andrew Scandalios and Jeff Julien from the New York City office.
