    Take a peek at this noteworthy event for the newbie women business owners.

    WHO: The Central Jersey Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners, which has provided networking opportunities for women in the workforce by combining the insight, experience, and leadership skills of more than 10 million women-owned businesses nationwide; and Rutgers’ Office of New Ventures and Entrepreneurship, which has helped create more than 100 start-up companies using Rutgers intellectual property and technologies.

    WHAT: The 6th Annual “Supporting Emerging Entrepreneurs Development” (SEED) business plan competition will select a winner from five women-owned NJ businesses less than two years old to win $15,000 in prizes packages. The event will also feature a keynote speech by Jasmine Cordero from Rutgers’ Center for Urban Entrepreneurship and Economic Development.

    WHEN: Tuesday, May 20th @ 5:30p.m.
