Weiss Realty sells Ridgewood retail property for $3.25M

    Moonachie-based commercial real estate firm Weiss Realty has sold Ridgewood's popular Super Cellars and Bamboo House for $3.25 million, according to a recent press release. It is now under new ownership.

    The 10,941-square-foot property, located at 28-32 South Broad St., has been the anchor for South Broad Street by bringing a large consumer base to the area looking for extensive wine and cheese selections, the announcement said.

    “Ridgewood is a great community and this building has a high profile with on-site parking, a huge benefit for any retailer and property owner in a community where parking has been and remains a valuable asset,” said Matthew Weiss, vice president of Weiss Realty.

    Weiss was the sole broker to negotiate this transaction on behalf of an undisclosed client of the firm, the announcement said.  He also represented the buyer who will own the property and operate a new liquor store on the premises.
