Bergman, Gottesman ink new leases at Secaucus office building

By ,

Two new tenants have taken space at 333 Meadowlands Parkway, a Secaucus office building owned by Bergman Real Estate Group and Gottesman Real Estate Partners.

The deals include a long-term lease with University Communications Inc. and FortressITX LLC, which signed together as one tenant for 7,300 square feet, according to a news release from Bergman. They will take occupancy at the six-story, 138,000-square-foot building later this spring.

Cresa New Jersey Vice President Edward English represented the tenant, Bergman said.

The other deal was made with U.S. Security Holdings Inc., a provider of security guard services. The firm signed a 4,200-square-foot ground-floor lease and is currently occupying the space, which has its own private entrance.

Cathie Salamone of Evergreen Commercial Real Estate represented U.S. Security.

The building is part of the 980-acre mixed-use Harmon Cove campus in Secaucus, the news release said. John Osborne, Bergman's executive director of leasing and marketing, said the deals bring the property's office portion to nearly 100 percent occupancy.

The owners are seeking tenants for three retail/flex/medical units ranging from 2,176 to 3,309 square feet, Osborne said.
