Formant joins Verizon as president of its enterprise business

John Stratton, Verizon executive vice president and president of the company’s wireline organization, has named Christopher Formant as president of Basking Ridge-based Verizon Enterprise Solutions.

According to the announcement, Formant will be responsible for delivering business solutions to Verizon’s global enterprise clients in key industries: health care and insurance, financial services, technology, manufacturing, distribution, automotive and distribution, retail, energy and utilities, and the public sector.

He was most recently president of global services at Avaya, the announcement said.  Prior to that, he held executive positions at PricewaterhouseCoopers and MBNA.
