Assist America hires Fiechter as new vice president of sales

    Princeton-based Assist America Inc. announced Thursday that Mark Fiechter is its new vice president of sales in the United States, effective immediately.

    According to the announcement, Fiechter has more than 23 years of insurance industry experience.  He’s worked for several major accident and health insurance companies as well as several managing general underwriters.

    Prior to Assist America, he was most recently the national sales manager for Europ Assistance USA, the announcement said.

    "Mr. Fiechter is a key addition to the Assist America team and we are very pleased to have him head our sales efforts in the U.S.," said Brian Mulligan, president and CEO, Assist America. "Mr. Fiechter's strong sales and insurance background is a perfect combination for us and we are proud to have him on board."

    Assist America was founded in 1990 and provides global emergency assistance services in partnership with various benefit plans, according to the announcement.
