Bergman Real Estate Group and Time Equities Inc. have leased 20,000 square feet of Cherry Hill office space to the U.S. General Services Administration, the building owners said Thursday.
The agency will occupy the space at 51 Haddonfield Road, a 100,000-square-foot property that recently underwent a series of capital improvements. The renovations were completed about a year ago after Bergman and Time Equities acquired the building, the according to a news release, giving way to activity that also includes a recent 21,000-square-foot deal with Benefits Consultant Group Inc.
John Osborne, Bergman’s executive director leasing and marketing, said GSA’s decision “validates our belief that demand is strong in South Jersey for a Class A office building that is able to offer aggressive rental rates” on part with larger, lower-quality properties in the market.
The building has available spaces ranging from 700 to 30,000 square feet, Bergman said in a news release. Anne Klein, a senior managing director with Newmark Grubb Knight Frank, serves as exclusive leasing agent for the property.
