Opera Solutions, a technology and analytics company focused on profit growth from big data, announced Friday that Bernhard Nann has joined the company as its new chief executive officer.

"I am excited about brining Bernhard on board," Arnab Gupta, founder of Opera Solutions, said in a prepared statement. "He embodies the entrepreneurial spirit that has allowed us to come so far, combined with the discipline and focus that will be necessary to reach the next level."

Nann was most recently president of operations and technology at IRI, Opera Solutions said in a recent press release. Prior to that, he was CTO of Fair Isaac Corporation.

Nann will be based in the company's global headquarters in Jersey City.
