SilverSun Tech intends to acquire ESC Software, expects to add more than $1.7M in revenue

By ,

Livingston-based SilverSun Technologies Inc. announced Thursday that its subsidiary, business technology services company SWK Technologies Inc., has signed a letter of intent to acquire ESC Software, a leading Arizona-based reseller of Sage Software and Acumatica applications.

The acquisition is expected to add more than $1.7 million in annual revenue.  The deal is expected to close before April 30, 2014.  Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

“ESC Software and its founder, Alan Hardy, have a tremendous reputation spanning several decades as a valued Sage business partner,” Mark Meller, CEO of SilverSun, said in a prepared statement. “This transaction further solidifies our position as one of the largest resellers of Sage Software in the United States.”

ESC, according to a recent press release, was founded in 2000 and has implemented technology solutions at prominent companies throughout the Southwest.

“…The fact that both SWK and ESC have added Acumatica to their portfolios is an indicator that our business strategies are very much aligned,” Jeffrey D. Roth, CEO of SWK Technologies, said in a prepared statement.
