Marlton-based construction risk company Hill International announced Thursday that it has received a contract from the Orange County Department of Public Works to manage construction and inspection of a California highway extension project.

According to the announcement, the seven-year contract to extend the La Pata Avenue and Camino Del Rio highway has an estimated value of approximately $7.7 million.

“This extension will greatly improve traffic flow entering San Juan Capistrano,” said Michael Tahan, senior vice president in charge of Hill’s highway and bridge practice in California.
