Verizon Wireless announces major hiring effort throughout New Jersey, New York

Verizon Wireless announced Wednesday it is adding 150 part-time and full-time sales jobs in its retail locations across New Jersey and New York before the end of July.

According to the announcement, Verizon is also looking to hire 100 inside sales positions at its call center in Orangeburg, N.Y. before the end of May.

"Verizon is a growing company in an exciting industry, and we are expanding throughout New York and New Jersey," said Pat Devlin, president of Verizon Wireless, New York Metro Region. "We are committed to hiring talented, motivated employees who will deliver on the outstanding experience our customers expect."
