Hess to sell three of its ‘tank farms’ in North Jersey

By

The Hess Corp. is currently in negotiation to sell its three former ‘tank farm’ terminals in Edgewater, Bogota and Secaucus.

According to a report by The Record, real estate developers are interested in the sites since they occupy prime redevelopment locations; Edgewater on the Hudson River, Bogota on the Hackensack River, and Secaucus in the Harmon Cove development.

Hess spokesman Denny Moynihan told The Record that Hess is selling the properties because it’s retiring from the retail end of the oil business and getting rid of its gas stations.
