Honeywell’s David Cote elected as director of New York Feds

David M. Cote, chairman and CEO of Morristown-based Honeywell, has been elected to serve as a director of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.

According to a statement released by the bank, Cote was made a Class B director for a term ending Dec. 31, 2016.

Class B directors are elected to represent the public, according bank’s site, and cannot be officers, directors or employees of any bank.

Cote was also named to the NJBIZ Power 100list earlier this year.
