HFF closes sale of 53,946 sq. ft. shopping center in Belleville

Florham Park-based HFF announced Wednesday that it has closed the sale of a 53,956-square-foot shopping center anchored by a Pathmark Supermarket in Belleville.

According to the announcement, HFF marketed the property on behalf of the seller, The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company and its affiliates, as part of a large nine-property A&P and Pathmark-branded grocery store. A joint venture between affiliates of Black Oak Associates and MCB Real Estate LLC purchased the 115 Belmont Ave. property.

HFF senior managing directors Jose Cruz and Andrew Scandalio, managing directors Kevin O'Hearn and Jeff Julien and real estate analyst Marc Duval represented the seller, the announcement said.
