Who is your most influential role model? My mother, Ilse De Paolo. She is a strong, generous, versatile, independent woman who knows how to get things done. As a teacher, she has made a lasting difference in the lives of thousands of people.

When is it appropriate to text in business? Only to communicate last-minute changes in plans when other modes of communication are impractical or unavailable. And never while driving, of course.

What would you give New Jersey for its 350th birthday? A statewide bash headlined by Bruce Springsteen, Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert. And a clean slate to develop comprehensive, inclusive tax and fiscal policy.

What is your go-to stress buster at work? A good sense of humor. Even a small laugh goes a long way.

The women will be honored at an event March 24 at The Palace at Somerset Park. For more details, click here or please contact Melissa Sullenberger at melissas@njbiz.com or call her at 732-246-5737.
