Who are your most influential role models? Two of my law partners have mentored me throughout my career. Christopher Killmurray hired me right out of law school, and taught me how to be a lawyer ... Susan O’Connor has inspired me with her accomplishments and work ethic. Most important of all, they have instilled in me that it is acceptable to prioritize family first.

What would you give New Jersey for its 350th birthday? My time, to mentor New Jersey’s next generation of women, including my lovely 9-year-old daughter, Cordelia.

What is your go-to stress buster at work? A walk to Starbucks for a cup of coffee. If that doesn’t work, usually a six-second hug from my colleague, Jen, who has informed me that research shows it is most effective at optimizing the flow of chemicals—oxytocin and serotonin—that boost your mood. If nothing else, it usually gives us a good laugh.

The women will be honored at an event March 24 at The Palace at Somerset Park. For more details, click here or please contact Melissa Sullenberger at melissas@njbiz.com or call her at 732-246-5737.
