Who is your most influential role model? My father, Donald Meyers, was a well-respected hospital administrator in New York ... He instilled in me the importance of treating every person with dignity and respect, and recognizing that every role in the hospital is important. I haven’t once looked back or regretted my decision to pursue the career I have, and I credit my dad every day for where I am today.
When is it appropriate to text in business? When it’s the only way to reach someone.
What would you give New Jersey for its 350th birthday? A health care system that provides high-quality services in patient- and family-focused environment.
What is your go-to stress buster at work? Visiting patients. It is very gratifying and inspiring to hear the positive feedback about the difference the Valley staff makes in our patients’ experience.
