When is it appropriate to text in business? When a client or business partner has sent you a text and you need to respond, after-hours or on weekends, or if the client/business partner prefers and accepts text messages.
What would you give New Jersey for its 350th birthday? A well-deserved, better reputation, and an eternally pristine shoreline.
What do you wish someone had told you earlier in your career? That you can and should be 100 percent yourself, 100 percent of the time. It’s OK to be real and funny, and try to have a good time at work. You spend a great deal of time at work, so why not enjoy it and the people you work with?
