N.J. company plans $30M expansion in KC, will add 230 jobs

Somerset-based life sciences company Catalent Pharma Solutions is planning a $30 million expansion in Kansas City and the addition of 230 jobs in the next five years.

According to multiple reports, Catalent has a 50-employee workforce in Kansas City and will receive $2.65 million of economic incentives through the Quality Jobs program.

Catalent is a leading global provider of advanced drug delivery and development solutions.  It employs over 1,000 scientists in 30 facilities worldwide and serves 85 of the 100 pharmaceutical marketers and 41of the top 50 biologic marketers.
