Palatin Technologies gets $1.85M from tax certificate transfer program

By ,

Cranbury-based Palatin Technologies Inc. announced Thursday it has received about $1.85 million through the Technology Business Tax Certificate Transfer Program.

According to the announcement, the company received about $100,000 more this year than it did in 2013. The program allows early-stage companies to convert losses into tax credits they can sell.

Soligenix, in Princeton, brought in $750,000 in a similar sale in mid-January, as did Inergetics late last year.

NJBIZ discussed the program in a December 2013 editorial.
