Due to the anticipated severe weather conditions posed by the winter storm, the 2014 Inaugural Committee has canceled Tuesday evening's celebration at Ellis Island.

The celebration honoring the inauguration of Gov. Chris Christie and Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno at the moment has not been rescheduled.

The Inaugural 2014 Committee in an announcement said, "We thank all of our supporters for their generosity that will enable us to continue giving back to our charitable partners - Save Ellis Island, New Jersey Heroes, and the New Hope Baptist Church."
