Parsippany-based communications services provider Strategic Products and Services announced Tuesday its hire of Thomas M. Paschak as chief operating officer effective December 30.
According to the announcement, Praschak will lead the managed services and operations organizations, professional services, as well as the chief technology office and the centralized services groups. Prior to joining SPS, Praschak served as vice president, service operations for Dimension Data where he built and managed the Americas Services Operations, a service business providing staffing, consulting, deployment, maintenance, management, cloud and outsourcing solutions. Praschak also served as vice president, general manager converged communications and network integration.
Prior to his tenure at Dimension Data, Praschak served as vice president, general manager at DecisionOne where he led the logistics and repair business and oversaw remote services. Praschak has also held roles with Marconi, Lucent Technologies and AT&T Bell Laboratories, SPS said in a statement.
