Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt opening 2 new N.J. locations in 2014

By ,

Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt, owned by Orange Leaf Holdings LLC in Oklahoma, will open two N.J. franchises in spring 2014, in Hoboken and Ridgewood, via a franchisee.

According to the announcement, Ridgewood businessman Paresh Patel will operate the franchises, the first of six the company expects to open in New Jersey by 2017. Patel owns Galaxy Pharmacy in Guttenberg. Orange Leaf's New Jersey plans are part of its overall aggressive growth plans for the U.S. and internationally. The company has 93 stores under construction and 331 committed to open based on signed contracts, doubling the store count from more than 300 stores to more than 600 stores in the next few years.

The company's website lists the total turnkey investment in a U.S. franchise at "less than $400,000."
