Mistras Group Inc., an asset protection company in the Princeton Junction section of West Windsor, announced Tuesday it has acquired Rockaway-based consulting and training firm Carmagen Engineering Inc. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

According to the announcement, Carmagen, a provider of oil and gas industry engineering consulting, project management services and training, has been operating since 1986 and focuses on reducing downtime between shutdowns without compromising safety.
