Chamber CEO Bracken joins Solix board

Parsippany-based Solix Inc., a provider of eligibility determination and customer care services to government, telecom and health care organizations, announced today New Jersey Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Thomas A. Bracken has been appointed to the company's board.

According to the announcement, Bracken has more than 40 years of experience in the banking and financial services industry. Bracken, named president and chief executive of the Chamber in 2011, has been involved with the state's business advocacy organization for more than 30 years and served as chairman of its board from 2005 to 2007.

Earlier this year, the Solix board announced the final phase of the company's succession plan will occur at the end of December when John Parry retires as chief executive. He will be succeeded by Chief Operating Officer Jack Miller on January 1, 2014. Miller has been serving as Solix president and COO since 2011, the company said in a statement.
