Bancroft, the nonprofit provider of brain injury rehabilitation and neurological care in Haddonfield, announced is partnering with Capital Health to provide neuropsychological evaluations at the Capital Institute for Neurosciences, based at Capital's new Hopewell hospital campus.
Bancroft's neuropsychologists will work with Capital Health neurologists, who treat Alzheimer's and other cognitive disorders, Parkinson's and other movement disorders, headache, epilepsy and pediatric neurological conditions.
In a statement, Bancroft and Capital said patients who seek treatment at the institute will benefit from a multidisciplinary team of specialists.
"The partnership allows patients with a variety of neurological conditions to receive neuropsychological evaluation from our skilled neuropsychologists right at Capital Health, where they receive diagnosis and treatment," said Toni Pergolin, Bancroft chief executive.
Bancroft, founded 130 years ago, serves more than 1,500 patients annually in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware and provides care in a variety of settings, from schools to outpatient and residential living facilities.
The Capital Institute for Neurosciences provides diagnosis and treatment for medical conditions involving the brain, spine and nervous system; more than 85 health care facilities in the tristate area transfer patients with emergent brain and spine issues to the hospital.
