Ocean freight consolidator CaroTrans, whose global headquarters is located in Clark, announced today an expedited import service from China via a direct Hong Kong to Atlanta connection. This South China service covers the entire Pearl River Delta region including main cities Guangzhou and Shenzhen, as well as Xiamen with consolidations in Hong Kong.

According to the announcement, imports arrive in Atlanta with express connections to 10 points throughout the U.S. southeast. This weekly service has a 22 day transit, the fastest in the market. Destination unpack provides cargo availability within 24 hours at Hartsfield warehouse. CaroTrans has a comprehensive Asia import service network with less cargo handling for reduced supply chain risk and greater reliability. With direct LCL services, transshipment costs are eliminated and transit times are faster offering greater value and service predictability for time-sensitive import shipments.

The company announced a direct line to the Philippines in June.
