The New Jersey chapter of Professional Women in Construction is hosting a Contact Exchange Forum on Friday, Oct. 4, at noon.

It sounds a little like speed-dating for women in architecture, engineering and construction: Attendees will get an opportunity to talk about their businesses, describe their "perfect client" and pitch the advantages of selecting their companies over the competition.

Organizers said the last forum resulted in some new strategic alliances, and they are hoping for more of the same this time around.

The forum will take place at the Chicago Uno Grill in Clifton. Tickets are $20 for PWC members and $25 for non-members. The cost includes lunch. If you want to attend, you can register online through the PWC website.
