Saddle River Valley Bank fined $8.2 million Source: The Record

Saddle River Valley Bank, which has been out of business for more than a year, has agreed to pay $8.2 million in penalties to settle federal charges it violated anti-money laundering laws between 2009 and April 2011 when it executed $1.5 billion of inadequately monitored transactions for Mexican and Dominican “casas de cambio,” or foreign money exchanges.
