Brand & Oppenheimer names new specialty fabrics business manager

Red Bank-based textile converter Brand & Oppenheimer announced Thursday it has named David Mackney specialty fabrics business manager.

Mackney, 45, most recently, he served as director of sales and marketing for the specialty products group of Guilford Mills, an integrated designer and producer of value-added knit fabrics using a broad range of technologies, in Wilmington, N.C. B&O was founded in 1913 as a supplier of garment linings.

In October 2011, Praesidian Capital, Stone Creek Capital LLC and management acquired the company.
