Children's Specialized announces new chief medical officer

    Mountainside-based Children’s Specialized Hospital announced Wednesday the appointment of Dr. Christopher Haines as chief medical officer. Haines will oversee all of the hospital’s medical programs, including inpatient rehabilitation, physicians’ practices, research and the fellowship program.

    According to the announcement, Children’s Specialized Hospital is the largest pediatric rehabilitation system in the United States. The hospital serves more than 20,000 children annually at its 10 sites throughout New Jersey.
