Close Up: Te Wu

Position: CEO of PMO Advisory LLC.

Key Role: I am accountable for leading the firm's strategy and mission, conducting business development, establishing services and solutions, managing and recruiting talents, building relationships, and managing engagements.

Goals: Our firm has a dual mission: Helping our clients to be more successful by improving their business effectiveness and achieving execution excellence, and helping our society by nurturing the next generation of business leaders.

Previous jobs: I have been a management consultant most of my career, either as an internal consultant or an external adviser. Prior to PMO Advisory, I was director of project services at KPMG.

Key strengths: Building trust and relationships. Getting things done — launched SAP center of excellence, built loan servicing operations, implemented master data management to more than 140 countries. Organizing — think through the issues and challenges, and organize for success.

Career high: Work in progress, just as life is a journey. Over my 20-year career, I am proud of its steady progress, either increasing responsibilities, working for world-class companies and now striving to build a socially progressive advisory firm.

Next: We want to build PMO Advisory as the go-to source for business execution, specifically project management office, program and project management, process improvement, executive decision support, and business transformation.

After hours: Reading and writing, thinking, occasional movies, travel, fitness, spending time with my family and catching up with good friends.
