Curtiss-Wright CEO announces plan to retire

Curtiss-Wright Corp., of Parsippany, on Thursday announced Chairman and CEO Martin Benante will retire in April 2015, after working nearly four decades for the industrial engineering company.

According to Curtiss-Wright, Benante will continue as executive chairman of the board of directors until his retirement. The board announced that, effective immediately, David Adams, currently president and chief operating officer, has been promoted to president and CEO, and will serve as a member of the board. Adams also will take over as chairman upon Benante's retirement.
