Camden-based Campbell's Soup Company says that, among the 200 products they plan to announce in 2014, there's one soup flavor that will be particularly interesting to Philadelphians.

According to a recent announcement, the company expects 2013 sales growth at the upper end of the 10- to 12-percent range. Naturally, that makes some room for additional product development investment.

As a result, Campbell's will launch Philly-Style Cheesesteak some time in 2014. The new soup will debut alongside Hearty Cheeseburger and Spicy Chicken Quesadilla in a new line they're calling "pub-inspired." The flavors are aimed at "males with hearty appetites."

Campbell's Cheesesteak soup comes hot on the heels of their recent addition of CheeseburgerOs to their SpaghettiOs line-up.

Apparently, males with hearty appetites prefer their favorite beef-based sandwiches liquefied. Who knew?
