AtlantiCare set to mark opening of $18.1M facility

AtlantiCare Cancer Care Institute - (AtlantiCare)

AtlantiCare on Wednesday will mark the opening of its new $18.1 million facility in the AtlantiCare Health Park, which includes an extension of the AtlantiCare Cancer Care Institute, a partnership with Philadelphia's Fox Chase Cancer Center.

The new facility, on AtlantiCare's campus in the Cape May Court House section of Middle Township, also has offices for AtlantiCare's primary and specialty physician group.

The Cancer Care Institute extension includes a linear accelerator, six infusion bays, and a pharmacy and laboratory. Services include chemotherapy, radiation therapy and access to clinical trials through AtlantiCare's partnership with Fox Chase.

Also located on the Cape May Court House campus are the AtlantiCare Surgery Center and Atlantic Medical Imaging.

AtlantiCare is an integrated health system that includes the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City and Galloway. It has more than 5,461 employees and 600 physicians serving the region at more than 60 locations.
