Syncsort announces new CEO, restructuring

Woodcliff Lake-based data analysis company Syncsort announced today it hired a new chief executive and is separating its data integration and data protection units into independent entities.

The company announced Lonne Jaffe, who has more than a decade of experience as vice president of strategy at IBM, as CEO, and promoted Josh Rogers to president. Flavio Santoni was named CEO of the Syncsort Data Protection business unit.
