Richard Ballistreri has joined Fulton Bank of New Jersey as a commercial lender for the bank's southern New Jersey region.
Ballistreri, of Deptford, has 30 years banking experience, most recently a relationship manager at TD Bank. Ballistreri graduated Monmouth University with a bachelor's degree in finance. He attended the ABA School of Real Estate Finance at Ohio State University.
Philip Bringuier has joined Provident Bank as vice president and relationship manager in the commercial real estate lending division. He is responsible for originating and monitoring commercial real estate loans.
Bringuier joins the bank with 10 years' experience in banking. He most recently was assistant vice president and commercial real estate manger at Wells Fargo, where he started his career in 2002. He earned a bachelor's degree in economics and a master's degree in business administration, with dual concentrations in finance and real estate, both from Rutgers University.
Shaunna Rubin has joined Provident Bank Foundation as foundation associate.
She will work closely with the foundation's executive director, Jane Kurek, to manage the foundation's giving program, which serves the bank's 11-county territory. She will assist with daily operations and conduct research analysis to support the design, execution and evaluation of grants.
Before joining the foundation, Rubin was service events manager at Jersey Cares, a nonprofit organization. She was also a market events coordinator and community impact associate with various United Way chapters in New Jersey.
Andrew Powelson was promoted to principal of the CFO services firm SolomonEdwards, based in the Iselin section of Woodbridge.
With international experience in the pharmaceutical, chemical and manufacturing industries, Powelson will deliver valued business advisory services to chief financial officers and their finance organizations within the New Jersey and New York areas.
Powelson will oversee client service, operations and business development, while concentrating on the health and life sciences industries and building relationships with strategic alliance partners. He previously worked for KPMG Switzerland.
Hackensack University Health Network has named Kevin DeSimone vice president of government relations.
DeSimone will assist the executive team in developing and managing strategies to inform and influence government policy on matters affecting the health network. He will also advise on legislative matters and public policy.
DeSimone joins Hackensack University Health Network from MBI-GluckShaw Inc., where he was a health care associate involving government relations. Before this position, DeSimone served as the senior director of Intergovernmental and Regulatory Affairs for Insight Consulting Services LLC.
Tax and Financial Planning
William C. Stratton and James D. Jackson, principal owners of Nova Financial Consulting LLC, of Manasquan, have joined Shapiro Financial Security Group, a Hazlet-based tax, financial planning and investment advisory firm.
Stratton has served as a financial adviser with American Express Financial Advisors, and held positions in finance and engineering with Verizon and Bell Communications Research. Stratton also serves as government relations director of the New Jersey chapter of the Financial Planning Association. He is past president of the Estate and Financial Planning Council of Central New Jersey.
Jackson specializes in providing investment management and estate planning services. After completing a career in military service, Jackson held executive positions in operations and human resources at Verizon Communications. Jackson holds professional designations as a certified financial planner and chartered mutual fund consultant. He is a member of the Estate and Financial Planning Council of Central New Jersey.
Connotate Inc., a New Brunswick-based provider of Eeb data and monitoring and extraction solutions, named Barry Graubart vice president of product strategy.
Graubart joins the company from Content Matters LLC, a consultancy focused on mobile and Web product strategy. Graubart also serves on the boards of the Software and Information Industry Association and Specialized Information Publishers Association.
