Marlton-based Hill International announced Monday that its subsidiary, Engineering S.A., has received a contract from MRP International to provide construction monitoring and procurement advisory services in connection with the Trump Towers Rio commercial development in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The 5-year contract has an estimated value to Hill of approximately$3.5 million.
Trump Towers Rio will be a complex of five 150-meter-high skyscrapers, each with 38 floors, and will have a total built-up area including commercial and underground space of about 4.8 million square feet. The project is being developed in Porto Maravilha, the port region adjacent to the commercial center of Rio de Janeiro.
It is the first project to bear the Trump name in Brazil.
