I'm not sure how reporter Josh Burd kept a straight face during this interview.

It's not often a journalist is talking to someone in a full jumpsuit and head gear. But Gary Shilling has no run-of-the-mill hobby.

Aaron Houston shot this photo during Josh's interview of Shilling about his 17 beehives, each containing about 50,000 and 60,000 honeybees. Shilling, an economic forecaster with A. Gary Shilling & Co. Inc., keeps the hives in the backyard of his Millburn home. Our Real Estate Report story on Shilling and his beehives, plus more photos, can be found on page 26 here.
