NJBIZ Brackets: Confidence wasn't misplaced as La Salle advances

All that confidence Jack O'Donnell had Wednesday before La Salle took to the court turned out to be prescience, not overconfidence.

Just as the Withum, Smith & Brown partner predicted, the Explorers topped Boise State in play-in action, sending Honeywell's David Ryder home early. Elsewhere in NJBIZ Brackets competition, Kristin Lynn, of Hampshire Cos., held off LIU-Brooklyn alumn Sheldon Blumengold, of Traffic Safety Services, as her alma mater of James Madison advanced to the full field of 64. She told NJBIZ she's more used to cheering on the football team, but if she knocks off No. 1 seed Indiana and Jim Morris, of Rutgers University, she may change her tone.
