More than $553,000 in cooperative marketing grants will be awarded to 42 organizations to help promote New Jersey tourism.
The grants are administered by the New Jersey Department of State's Division of Travel and Tourism to promote and market individual tourism events, attractions and activities throughout the state.
"Tourism is an important economic engine for New Jersey, particularly along our Shore," Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno said in prepared remarks. "It's an industry that contributes significantly to the health of our communities by creating jobs and bringing revenue into our municipalities."
Guadagno released the names of the recipients today. Among them are the Garden State Winegrowers Association, the Garden State Film Festival, Historic Cold Spring Village, Appel Farm Arts and Music Center, Atlantic City Trolley Tours, Warren County Farmers Fair and the New Jersey Council for the Humanities.
