Consulting fees power Hill's fourth-quarter figures

By ,

Construction risk management firm Hill International, in Marlton, on Monday announced its fourth-quarter revenue was up 2.5 percent from the year-ago period, though the company saw a drop in 2012 overall.

Revenue in the fourth quarter reached $125.7 million, up from $122.6 million a year ago, according to the company, powered by consulting fees, which jumped 11.2 percent from the fourth quarter of 2011. Hill’s numbers were hurt by $23.1 million in noncash charges on its books, it said in a statement.

For 2012, total revenue was $480.8 million, the company said, down 4.1 percent from the year before.
