By ,

As the Assembly prepares to vote Tuesday on a revised Internet gaming bill, this week’s State Street makes clear the eyes of the gaming world are watching.

Barbara DeMarco, a lobbyist with Porzio Governmental Affairs, said New Jersey was a frequent topic of conversation at the recent World Regulatory Briefing, in London.

State Street’s also got a look at a man whose role in the business community has only become more important since Hurricane Sandy – Business Action Center chief Michael Van Wagner.

Meanwhile, in the wake of Revel’s decision to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, Grapevine went digging to find out whose money is on the line. The result is a partial list of the struggling casino’s heretofore anonymous creditors.

Grapevine also has the latest on efforts by potential partners to woo Somerset Medical Center, in Somerville. The column also has the latest on the state’s health exchange, which could impact November’s gubernatorial election.
