ConnectOne announces closing of $45M IPO

Englewood Cliffs-based ConnectOne Bancorp Inc. announced it raised $44.8 million in its initial public offering, which closed Friday.

The bank, formerly known as North Jersey Community Bank, said 1.6 million shares of common stock were sold at $28 each. The bank previously told NJBIZ it will use the money to fuel its growth strategy, including acquisitions, though it has yet to identify a target.
