Peanut butter sale, sub restaurant opening, multifamily trade.


Englewood Cliffs-based food and consumer products conglomerate Unilever announced Thursday it has completed the sale of its Skippy peanut butter business to Austin, Minn.-based Hormel Foods Corp. for $700 million in cash, with the exception of its operations and manufacturing unit in China, which remain subject to regulatory approval.

Manasquan-based sandwich franchise Jersey Mike’s Subs announced Thursday it has opened one of its first two airport restaurants in the Terminal A food court of Newark Liberty International Airport.


The Elmwood Park office of brokerage firm Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services announced Thursday it has sold a 392-unit multifamily property in Camden to Brick-based real estate investment group Tryko Partners LLC for $16.1 million.

Livingston-based real estate broker Gebroe-Hammer Associates announced Thursday it has sold a 216-unit apartment complex in Lindenwold and a 68-unit multifamily property in Woodbury for a combined $11 million sales price.
