NJBIZ Chief Photographer Aaron Houston's shot from back of the room at the State of the State address Jan. 8, 2013.
NJBIZ Chief Photographer Aaron Houston's shot from back of the room at the State of the State address Jan. 8, 2013.

If you haven't noticed, NJBIZ has an incredibly talented photographer in Aaron Houston, who joined us in June.

I'll be posting some of my favorites on this blog, photos that wouldn't make it into our print edition. The pictures I pick will include informal shots of business executives during photo shoots with Aaron, candids of NJBIZ reporters during interviews and other quirky photos that it would be selfish for me not to share.

To kick it off this week, I chose a photo Aaron shot at Gov. Chris Christie's State of the State address. It's a cool perspective from the back of the room, capturing Christie in the lens of the TV camera while showing many of the legislators in the audience. Aaron always has an excellent eye for different types of shots.
